ROHIT GIJARE is a renowned Choreographer, Dancer, Creator based in New York City. Born in India and raised in America, Rohit strives to blend and amalgamate aspects of both of his cultures through art. Dancing since the age of 3, Rohit received formal training in Kathak, an Indian Classical, from his Guru Archana Joglekar. He further went on to expand his training in Western forms such as Hip Hop & Street Jazz through studios such as Broadway Dance Center.

Rohit took the national spotlight for the first time when he was crowned Runner Up on the hit Indian television show, Dance India Dance. From there, his creative work took off. Rohit’s growing YouTube presence has to led to collaborations with artists globally. He has amassed nearly 400K Subscribers on his Youtube Channel from creating his own original work. As the Director of Choreography for Bollywood Boulevard, a nationally touring production, Rohit created a full 90 minute musical production which first premiered at the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival. Most recently, Rohit was casted in Yash Raj Films / Adtiya Chopra's newest endavour, "Come Fall In Love: The DDLJ Musical," as an ensemble member and Dance Captain. 
 
As a content creator Rohit’s videos have gone viral. He also has created a unique #HusbandAndWife Series which has gained audiences everywhere. His continued growth has led to choreography for two NBA Halftime Shows for the 76ers & performances at BuzzFeed, Spotify, LVHM, Etsy, Neuman’s Kitchen, Sling TV & JetBlue.  Rohit’s love for teaching and passing on knowledge to students has created a unique, one of a kind community. Rohit continues to teach regularly and now tours in cities worldwide.
